Dominican puppet theatre company. Founded in 1980 and directed by Basilio Novoa, Cúcara Mácara was aimed at children. The company performs in schools and colleges and leads workshops about construction and performance of puppets. Shows include La Caperucita Roja (Little Red Riding Hood).
