Dominican puppet theatre company. Directed by Aidita Selman and Víctor Checo, Teatro Papalote was founded in 1984. The company uses mime, puppetry and live acting. They run courses in history, dramaturgy, construction and manipulation of puppets for children. Notable performances include: El regalo mágico (The Magic Present), El Sueño (The Dream), Titiri Schow, and La valentía de Consusto (The Bravery of Consusto).
