French actor and showman. Frédéric O’Brady became interested in puppets after meeting Hungarian puppeteer, painter/stage designer and director, Geza Blattner, who worked mostly in France. O’Brady found success in the 1930s with dance numbers for bare hand puppetry (see also Finger Puppet). He also had a career in the cinema.
